About the Photographer
As a longtime publicist and advocate of photography, I’m proud to have represented the most beloved brands in the business from icons TIME and LIFE to social media giant Instagram. It was an honor to work with photojournalists who risked their lives to present the truth like James Nachtwey, Christopher Morris and Kate Brooks and to raise awareness of emerging photographers’ work on Instagram.
I’m currently Director of Media Strategy at The OutCast Agency where I lead communications strategy for clients that have included Pinterest, Spotify, Rent the Runway, Gap Inc. and startups Twyla, Enjoy and b8ta.
Prior to OutCast, I spent 13 years at Time Inc. where I managed communications for TIME during 9-11, the Iraq war and Hurricane Katrina. I later moved to the Lifestyle Group and handled press for shelter and women’s brands including Southern Living, All You and This Old House.
I was a teaching assistant in color printing for New York-based photographer Bill Armstrong at International Center for Photography. Bill became my friend and mentor and encouraged me to pursue this work.
